Camino Dreaming
The Camino de Santiago, The Way of Saint James, is a 1,000-year old network of pilgrimage trails in Europe. We have walked about 1,300 miles of it, over nine years.
In 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2019, we walked sections of the Camino Francés and the Via de la Plata, both in Spain. In 2014, we walked parts of the Portuguese route and the Finesterre route. We walked sections of the Via Podiensis in France, also known as the Le Puy Route, in 2008, 2015, and 2017. We have given many presentations about the trail and the experience of hiking it. Having gathered a great deal of information for our treks and for our presentations, we developed this website to share it. Click the title or photo to visit the site. |
Random Ferments
Here you will find posts primarily on natural history topics, but also about projects, ideas, and stories that are fermenting in our lives. These will include cheese stories that have continued to ferment since the publication of The Summer of a Thousand Cheeses in 2010. Click the title or photo to visit the site. |
Peg and Russ: Adventures Beyond Time
On this blog, we post about our post-employment life. Since retiring in 2006 from working for organizations we believed in . . . to whose success we were proud to contribute . . . we have followed our interests wherever they led us. It has been an adventure in researching directions that the universe pulled us. This blog is our place to tell these stories. Click the title or photo to visit the site. |
